Information for foreigners

 The application for permission to long-term residence for the purpose of study, an foreigner  is obliged to submit the following elements:

   * Travel document

   * A document certifying the purpose of residence in the territory,

   * Proof of accommodation during the stay in the territory,

   * Extract from the criminal record as a basis for evaluating criminal

     responsibility, except in the case of a foreigner under the age of 15 years,

   * 2 photos,

   * If a minor, consent of parents and any legal

     representative or guardian, with his stay in the territory,

   * Proof of funds to stay in the Czech Republic

     under Section 13 of the Foreigners Act, if a study at a university or

     unpaid work profession, in other cases, evidence that the

     the cost of staying alien takes over the local host organization.

 

The application for permanent residence permit the foreigner is required to connect the following elements:

   * Travel document

   * Documentary evidence attesting to stay in the territory, such as marriage

     certificate, birth certificate or other instrument evidencing relationship

     and the like (this does not apply in the case of foreigners applying for a permit to

     permanent residence after 5 years of continuous residence in the Czech Republic)

   * Of availability of funds for permanent residence in the territory of one

     of the methods set out in Article 71 of the Foreigners Act, this document

     does a foreigner who has been entrusted to spare education

     decision of the competent authority and has reached the age of 18 years,

   * Statement of convictions, the Czech Republic and similar documents state that

     is a foreigner or a citizen of residence, as well as

     State, in which an alien in the past three years stayed

     continuously for more than 6 months, as evidence for consideration

     Criminal responsibility or solemn declaration in the case that this

     State does not issue such a document, the document does not alien

     younger than 15 years,

   * Proof of accommodation in the territory,

   * 2 photos,

   * Consent of parents and, where appropriate, other legal representative or guardian

     with residence a child residing in the territory, where it is not cohabitation with the family

     by a parent, guardian or legal representative (this does not apply

     if the alien demonstrates that this document can not be present for reasons

     beyond his control).

2.3.5. Extension of the duration of the license for authorization to permanent residence

 An alien is obliged to ask the Foreign Police Inspectorate for an extension of the certificate of permanent residence permit within 90 days before the expiry of that period, in justified cases, an application earlier.

 The application is a foreigner is required to submit a travel document if there was a change in the form of the applicant is also required to submit 2 photos, and the applicant, which correspond to its real form.

4.2. Information on the obligations relating to the reporting of foreigners place of residence after entering the territory of the Czech Republic

 An alien is required within 3 working days from the date of entry into the territory of the Czech Republic to declare their place of stay for foreign police inspectorate of the place under the residence. This requirement does not apply to foreigners under the age of 15 years, a staff member embassy, a foreign state or international governmental organization accredited in the Czech Republic, the family member authorized the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or foreigners, which provides accommodation Ministry of Interior, as well as to foreigners who fulfill this obligation for accommodation.

 A foreigner who is entitled to temporary residence in the Czech Republic without a visa, is required within 30 days of the beginning of this report at the residence of the Alien Police Inspectorate their place of residence in the territory where to reside in the territory for a period exceeding 30 days. At the same time, is obliged to disclose Alien Police Inspectorate and the beginning of the expected duration of temporary stay in the territory.

 Citizen of the European Union is obliged to notify the police instead of residence in the country within 30 days from the date of entry into the territory if its to reside for a period exceeding 30 days, this requirement also applies to a family member EU citizen if that citizen is staying in the territory. Obligation to declare their place of residence to the police does not apply to foreigners who fulfill this obligation for accommodation.

 The announcement of the place of residence of foreigners in the territory are not any right to object or to the owner of the property in which the foreigner is logged on to stay.
